When Corporate Vice President Benjamin Nevis is unexpectedly terminated, he’s completely unaware how tricky it’s going to be in current times for a forty-something male to break back into the executive world. After a multitude of ignored applications and dismissive face-to-face encounters, he decides it’s his face that doesn’t fit and that relying on knowledge and experience is a thing of the past, so concludes some rather extreme and immoral measures are required to land the position he knows he deserves.

After busy office days he leaves the bustling city and fake persona behind, retreating to Deerville, Wisconsin, a quaint and creepy town in the middle of nowhere where everything is not as it seems. Eyeballs are tracking Benjamin and his two friends, Mike and Justin, but they are oblivious to who’s sending threats and surveilling them and why. They create and elaborate plan to reveal the mystery identity, but as time goes by, realize they’ve vastly underestimated the complexity of the situation.
